  • Log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring pages, pages visited, and timestamps
  • Analytics data: Behavioral data collected through Google Analytics 4 (see Cookies section)
  • Device information: Device type, screen resolution, language settings

Information from Third Parties

We may receive information about you from third parties such as payment processors (Stripe) and communication platforms (Twilio for SMS), consistent with their privacy policies and your authorization.

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including:

  • Active client accounts: Duration of the client relationship plus 2 years
  • Contact form submissions: 2 years from submission date
  • Quote Engine lead data: As configured by the client (default: 2 years)
  • Financial records: 7 years as required by Canadian tax law
  • Analytics data: 14 months (Google Analytics default, as configured)

After retention periods expire, we delete or anonymize personal information in a secure manner.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational security measures to protect personal information, including:

  • TLS/SSL encryption for all data in transit
  • Encrypted storage for sensitive data at rest
  • Access controls limiting personnel access to personal data
  • Regular security reviews and updates
  • Passwords stored using one-way cryptographic hashing (bcrypt)
